About Mojo

If you've been wondering "what's this Mojo thing all about", you've come to the right place.

Mojo has been built by the good people who brought you the Web21C SDK, here over at BT. Mojo is a web application that lets you make phone calls and send messages to your friends, family and landlords (whom you want to remind that they still haven't fixed the shower).

You can do these things either through the Mojo portal or by using a gadget that uses Mojo. Cool eh?

Mojo is still going through testing - you will not be able to buy your own mojits. So if you want to play with us, please contact the team and tell us why you think we should let you.

And if you really want to know..

Mojo is the development name for this Portal, and encompasses the drive to use Web21c securely through gadgets. A gadget can be anything from a Vista sidebar gadget , a Yahoo widget, a Facebook application or a Pageflake. Essentially anything that can send http requests to Mojo.

If you want to test out the beta, we will need to add you as a user. You will also need an OpenId credential for authentication, but that's easy to get.

We are a RESTful system, so the URIs should all make sense. If you want to try your hand at writing some gadgets, look here.

Mojo is built with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, plus an additional java process that sends requests to Web21c.
